In addition to developmental feedback, Jake provides specialized services such as sensitivity reading for queer, trans and chronically ill characters. They have a particular interest in gender worldbuilding and can help authors make their fiction radically inclusive of all genders.

Jake lives in the UK, but their head is often away in other universes.

They are the former copy chief of Los Angeleno, an arts and culture publication that celebrated the various idiosyncrasies that define Los Angeles. Currently, they work for the Los Angeles Press Club, managing communications for the non-profit.

Richard is a former president of the LA chapter of NLGJA: The Association of LGBTQ+ Journalists, and currently leads the chapter’s communications and events committees, developing programming that aims to build and strengthen connections among Southern California’s queer and trans journalists, news media professionals and creatives. They also serve on the board of the LGBTQ+ Editors Association, heading the group’s events committee.

Aside from advocating for the death of the Oxford comma, Richard spends most of their time staring lovingly at the 60 or so plants threatening to take over their house. They also do a bit of photography and print design when the stars align.

Tiffany is the founder of Burgeon Design and  Editorial and hosts "The Residency," a free online writing community,  and "Revision Alchemy," an online self-editing course.

Tiffany grew up  in foster care and was adopted at age 10, and their identity is shaped  by their neurodivergence, high sensitivity, and bisexuality, as well as  anxiety and depression. Recognizing and sharing these facets of their  identity is essential, as their proximity to privilege and degree of  marginalization naturally impact the way they work with their clients  and lead their community. Tiffany lives in Oregon with their cats.

She studied English Literature, Creative, and Professional Writing at the University of Idaho and went on to study Book Publishing at the Denver Publishing Institute. Upon graduating, her love of books only increased and she is now an advocate for all writers at whatever stage they are in.

She is always seeking to learn more about writing craft and editing techniques and believes there is no such thing as a stupid question.

Crystal lives in the Midwestern United States with her family. She is an advocate for mental health and neurodiversity—especially their significance in the arts. When she isn't working, she loves to read, write, restore typewriters, embroider, or challenge herself with a new knitting pattern.
