Are you an LGBTQ+ editor? Join us to chat, mentor/be mentored, collaborate, and network. We launched in June 2022, and are establishing this organization in phases. As a member, you can access a discussion forum, monthly virtual events, and an internal newsletter. You can be a featured editor on the blog, and we'd love to have your help as a volunteer growing this organization. We're in the process of building a mentorship program and have other plans under construction. Connect with us on our social media. Email us at Info@LGBTQEditors.org to join!
Membership and direct involvement is limited to LGBTQIA+ editors and those preparing to be editors. However, we appreciate our allies and plan to provide an external newsletter and resource in the near future. Ally editors and writers can follow us on our social media in the meantime.
Do you have questions, have a job opportunity to share, or want to collaborate? Email us at Info@LGBTQEditors.org.
Email us at Info@LGBTQEditors.org to join and get involved. All LGBTQIA+ editors or editors-in-training are welcome. There is no required membership fee.
Once your membership is accepted, you'll receive access to our discussion forum in Slack, our internal newsletter, and the option to be a featured editor on our social media. If applicable, there is an Editors with Disability or Neurodivergence channel and a private QTPOC editor channel. You'll also have the option to join our mentorship program as a mentee or mentor once it launches.
We're actively seeking additional volunteers and monthly hosts for our social media. Read more about our leadership team here.
